Opening Soon: Hampton Roads Urgent Care

Hampton Roads Urgent Care August 2017Hampton Roads Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine is pleased to announce the opening of our urgent care facility, Hampton Roads Urgent Care, at our Newport News campus on August 1, 2017. This unique urgent care center will be the first on the Peninsula to provide three medical specialties all under one roof! Hampton Roads Urgent Care will offer:

Rather than going to an emergency room – often an expensive and time-consuming option – patients with acute injuries such as a bone fracture or a tissue tear will be able to turn to HRUC for quick, affordable specialty care. HRUC will treat patients 2 years of age and older and will be open Monday – Fridays from 8:00am to 7:00pm and Saturday’s 10:00am to 4:00pm.

Orthopaedic Medicine

The patients in our community will have access to our board-certified team of orthopaedic specialists from HROSM with high-end X-ray, the latest diagnostic tools and innovative treatment options to treat acute, non-emergent orthopedic or sports related injuries.

Occupational Medicine

Our occupational medical staff will be able to help you if you have been injured at work, need a pre-employment physical, or require laboratory and screening tests or immunizations. Receiving the proper diagnosis and treatment is crucial to restoring your health expeditiously and your livelihood in the workplace. Employers are able to plan for short-term or long-term coverage needs based on proper diagnosis, immediate treatment plans and timely communication between patients, employers and insurance providers.

General Illness

At Hampton Roads Urgent Care, we will offer medical services for the whole family. When your family needs immediate medical attention, you want quality care that’s close to home. The experienced physicians at Hampton Roads Urgent Care see patients on a walk-in basis. From general health concerns, to acute illnesses such as the flu or strep throat, we provide treatment for infants to older adults — no appointment necessary.

It is a privilege for Hampton Roads Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine to be able to open Hampton Roads Urgent Care to serve the community with extended hours, board-certified specialists, state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and treatment plans that will get you back to work and back to your life as quickly as possible.
